| "Mariyah" is the stage name of my daughter, Elizabeth, who combines working toward her master's degree with middle eastern dancing—both as a professional performer and a teacher. For artistic photographs of her, along with her schedule, check her own website: Mariyah

| At left is the painting I used for the cover of Moon Tides, Soul Passages. The giclee prints of it are slightly cropped at the top from the original so that they will fit standard size mats and frames. The title comes from a keyword meaning of Full Moon, as is explained in the book. Friends who liked my Last Quarter Moon, shown further below on this page, thought I should use it as the book cover, but it left no place for title text. So, this is why I did an ocean version of the same woman, with room for the book title! |
